What happened
A Facebook profile published AI-manipulated videos on 11 May 2026 reportedly targeting former Kosovo MP Paris Guri and members of the Youth Forum of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). One video showed youth members holding milk bottles portrayed as children with the caption 'We don't know, we just drink milk,' reportedly featuring Guri speaking. Another video featured LDK youth with the caption 'Lidhja e Duçav të Kosoves' (League of Goats of Kosovo).
Fact-checker Kallxo.com tested the videos using HIVE, an AI-detection platform, which determined both videos were AI-generated with 97% probability of being edited through artificial intelligence.
Reported impact
The videos were published during the period when parliament was dissolved and snap elections were scheduled for 7 June 2026. Guri told Kallxo.com that the videos were fabricated.
