Amazon's Zoox recalled 332 autonomous vehicles in the U.S. over a software error in its Automated Driving System (ADS). At or near intersections, Zoox vehicles equipped with software versions released before December 19 may cross the yellow center line and drive into or stop in front of oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.
Reported impact
The malfunction could cause vehicles to cross into oncoming traffic lanes at intersections or come to a halt directly in the path of approaching vehicles.
Index analysis
