What happened

Why aren't you explaining how Israeli war crimes are supported by Azure? As a Microsoft employee, I won't be complicit in this genocide.' Lopez was then escorted from the room.

Following the protest, Lopez sent a company-wide email to colleagues stating that Azure technology was being used in Gaza to kill civilians. According to a statement from the group No Azure for Apartheid, of which Lopez was a member, Microsoft sent Lopez a termination email after the May 19 protest.
