To convince victims of legitimacy, the criminals used the cloned voice of Minister Veliz in phone calls. The scheme required victims to pay 3,500 bolivianos through QR code transfers as an initial fee to secure a position via item generation. According to authorities, one member of the group, identified as Alfredo Ch.
