Police advised the public to be cautious when receiving information on social media and not post or share unverified content or material with a tendency to cause panic.
Governance controls
Lâm Đồng police were consolidating case files for consideration and handling according to legal regulations.
Phú Thọ police recommended that individuals use social media responsibly in compliance with legal regulations, particularly the Law on Cybersecurity, and that citizens should proactively provide information to police when discovering accounts posting false information.
