The Ganzhou Emergency Management Bureau's May 21 investigation report found the A07 driver was distracted driving and the semi-trailer was illegally stopped in the expressway fast lane at 4 a.m. in an unlit section. Both drivers shared direct responsibility.
Changan Qiyuan stated the IACC system is L2-level assistance designed for flat highway conditions and may fail to detect obstacles in limited visibility conditions such as rain, fog, dust, and darkness without adequate lighting, preventing timely braking.
